Mobango Promote is a tool which allows you to promote the Applications, Games and Themes you have uploaded on Mobango. You don’t have to pay money upfront in order to buy adv space or to pay for clicks which bring people only to view your item. You will only Pay for each Download.
Just set your budget (no minimum spending requirement) and bid the maximum price you want to pay for each download
The higher is your bid with respect to other advertisers, the higher you will rank on the page. Higher positions on the page lead to greater number of downloads
You can choose to place your campaign only on Mobango web site, on the mobile site or on both. The higher is your bid with respect to other advertisers, as well as its popularity, the higher will be the advertising position.
Highest positions are displayed in Featured items (on both web and wap site). From the 4th position on, your item is displayed in the Highlight column (only on web).
Because you can maximize the views and downloads of the Items you choose to promote. Promoted Items are highlighted in all the Games, Applications and Themes pages on Mobango, giving them an exceptionally high visibility to millions of Mobango users.
Uploading your Items definitely allows them to show up on Mobango pages, but only within their relative area (Apps, Games or Themes) and limiting visibility to only highly viewed or highly downloaded items
It’s a very fast and simple process:
1. Sign in to Mobango and access the Developers Area.
2. If you have not done it yet, upload at least one Application, Game or Theme (please remember that in order to do that you must have upgraded your account to Developer)
3. Click on Advertising: in order to let you try the tool, we have already added some funds to you’re account. If you think this is not enough for your campaign, please click on "Add money".
4. Enter your billing info in the billing info section. You will receive a confirmation email.
5. Click the button "Create Campaign" and
o Choose your item
o Enter your maximum bid
o Enter your ad text
o Schedule the beginning and the end of your campaign.
o Enter your daily budget - the amount you're willing to spend on this ad campaign each day.
6. Click on Save
Please note that every time you create a new campaign you will receive a notification email confirming its activation.
• each Unique Initiated Download (UID) from the web site (pc download) or from the mobile site. A UID is the action of a registered user starting to download an item. If the download fails and the user clicks again, our system recognizes it and we guarantee that your account will be not charged more than once.
• each Send to Locker action both on Mobango web and mobile sites. The Locker is a private space where Mobango users can store the files seen while browsing Mobango web and mobile sites and which they may want to install later on their mobile phone. This space is shared between web and mobile sites allowing a user e.g. to select a file on the web site, store it to his Locker and install it later on his mobile phone.
Mobango charges your account for each download originated by users clicking on items displayed in the advertising positions. Your account will be charged ONLY for incremental downloads originated by users clicking on your item from the advertising spaces (within the Featured Items box or Highlights column) on web or mobile site.
Downloads from the normal listing will NOT be charged!
Please also note that if the same user, for any reason, downloads the file more the one time, your account will be charged only for 1 download. E.g.: if the same user, for any reason, downloads your promoted item many times, all downloads after the first one will not be charged.
The maximum bid is the highest amount you are willing to pay for each download. You will be never charged more than your max bid.
Actually, fees are often lower than your max bid, as the effective price that will be charged to your account depends also on the bids made by other advertisers on Items following yours in the position ranking,
Sure! Actually, changing the bid according to the trends of downloads is strongly recommended as it gives you the possibility to optimize your position and your spending. Check your campaign stats frequently and try different bids. Remember that the price you pay depends also on other advertisers' bids.
From the promoted item list, choose the campaign you want to modify and click on Edit. Enter the new amount for your max bid (in USD) and click on Save. Your bid will be immediately updated.
Daily budget is the amount that you're willing to spend on a campaign per day. When the budget limit is reached, your ad will be automatically stopped for the rest of that day. It will start back the following day according to money available on your account. Days start at 12.00am CET,

Yes. From the promoted item list, choose the campaign you want to modify and click on Edit. Enter the new amount for your daily budget (in USD) and click on Save. Your Daily budget will be immediately updated.
Your active campaigns will be temporary terminated and a notification email will be sent to the email you have set on your billing information. If you add funds to your account your campaigns will automatically restart.
Just click on add funds. You can add money to your account using all major Credit Cards as well as PayPal, if you have a PayPal account.
After entering your data and confirmed the transfer, you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive an invoice for each transfer you have made at the end of each month.
Transactions with both Credit Cards and PayPal are ensured by a service of PayPal, Inc. Therefore your credit card data will NOT be stored on Mobango’s database and are fully managed by PayPal.

Mobango Promote lets you monitor downloads, views and costs of your campaigns by supplying detailed statistics. You can access statistics in two ways:
1. by clicking on link Stats associated to each of your campaigns in the List of Promoted Items page. This will give statistics about a single campaign
2. by clicking on Global Statistics in the menu. This will give you an overview of the whole campaigns you are running.
